What is monitored
Reachability + latency of the public HTTPS RPC and core chain health (height advancing, gas price, chain id). A green indicator means the node answered correctly on the latest poll.
Block time
Live average over the most recent sealed blocks (target: 2 seconds). It updates continuously as new blocks arrive.
WebSocket
ws://194.31.55.222:8546 is available for eth_subscribe. Browsers cannot open non-TLS WebSockets from HTTPS pages, so it is not probed here — test from a client.
