API Documentation

ZENX exposes the standard Geth JSON-RPC surface (eth, net, web3) in archive mode. Every method below behaves per the official Ethereum JSON-RPC spec.

1. Transport & conventions

PropertyValue
Base URLhttps://zenx.network/rpc (also http://194.31.55.222:8545)
ProtocolJSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP POST; WebSocket at ws://194.31.55.222:8546
Content-Typeapplication/json
ValuesQuantities are hex (0x-prefixed); data are hex bytes; addresses are 20-byte hex
CORSEnabled (*) — browser dApps can call directly
BatchingSupported — send an array of requests, receive an array of responses

2. eth_* methods

MethodPurpose
eth_blockNumberLatest block height
eth_getBlockByNumber / eth_getBlockByHashBlock data (full tx objects or hashes)
eth_getTransactionByHashTransaction lookup
eth_getTransactionReceiptReceipt (status, gasUsed, logs)
eth_getTransactionCountNonce of an account
eth_getBalanceNative ZENX balance
eth_getCodeContract bytecode at an address
eth_getStorageAtRaw storage slot read
eth_callExecute a read against state without a tx (contract reads)
eth_estimateGasEstimate gas for a transaction
eth_gasPriceCurrent gas price suggestion
eth_feeHistoryEIP-1559 base-fee history
eth_getLogsEvent logs by address/topics over a block range (archive)
eth_sendRawTransactionBroadcast a signed transaction
eth_chainIdChain ID (88911)
eth_syncingSync status (false when fully synced)
eth_subscribe / eth_unsubscribeWebSocket: newHeads, logs

3. net_* methods

MethodPurpose
net_versionNetwork id (88911)
net_listeningWhether the node accepts connections
net_peerCountNumber of connected peers (hex)

4. web3_* methods

MethodPurpose
web3_clientVersionNode client identification string
web3_sha3Keccak-256 of given data

5. Worked examples

Latest block + native balance (curl)

curl -X POST https://zenx.network/rpc -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[],"id":1}'
# {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"result":"0xc039e"}

curl -X POST https://zenx.network/rpc -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"eth_getBalance","params":["0xDb76978175bF9Fd68fe55694EefCe7b83ef71584","latest"],"id":2}'

Contract read — ZENX totalSupply (web3.js)

const Web3 = require('web3');
const w = new Web3('https://zenx.network/rpc');
const abi = [{ "constant": true, "inputs": [], "name": "totalSupply", "outputs": [{ "name": "", "type": "uint256" }], "type": "function" }];
const zenx = new w.eth.Contract(abi, '0xC7F0800731cF1591Cb3328E450C7aF3f40895c74');
zenx.methods.totalSupply().call().then(console.log);

Logs (python)

import requests, json
r = requests.post('https://zenx.network/rpc', json={
  "jsonrpc": "2.0", "id": 1, "method": "eth_getLogs",
  "params": [{"address": "0x9248C5bEDd12264A7aADA38E4a4150a8e0E75552",
              "fromBlock": "0x0", "toBlock": "latest"}],
}).json()
print(len(r.get("result", [])))  # total DEX events ever
